Jesus Christ is my Savior and Redeemer!

This past week's scripture reading was a constant reminder of the love of our Heavenly Father to all of us.  I also realized the unquestionable love that Jesus Christ had for His Father in Heaven.  When Heavenly Father presented the Plan of Salvation and He said He needed a Savior.  Jesus Christ volunteered
to be our savior.  He said, send me Father and I will allow everyone their free agency.  Isn't it amazing that we freely make the choice to follow Him?  We freely make the choices to keep His commandments and serve others.  We also freely choose to not follow Him.  Heavenly Father knew that we will make wrong choices, so he provided our Savior, Jesus Christ.  He laid down His life for all of us.

When we enter the water of Baptism we make a covenant that we will always remember Him and His atonement, and keep His commandments.  Every Sunday we attend the sacrament meeting.  Sacrament prayers is a constant reminder that we should always remember Him and to keep His commandments as a token of our gratitude to Him and His atonement on our behalf.

One of the things that the Savior Jesus Christ did was that he showed the way for us.  He created a platform for all of us to follow.  In my opinion, He sacrificed for us to give us a chance to repent and live, and to be able to return back to our Father in Heaven, and in return we need to sacrifice for others also.  I know we can sacrifice in many ways to others while we are serving in the church, like being a teacher, and being a ministering sister, being a relief society president or any calling in the church we may have.   We also sacrifice for others like our family especially being a parent, sibling and etc. There is one sacrifice that I think it is far beyond any others, is that when we sacrifice for those that has passed on before us.  Some have not been able to be baptized and be sealed to their families.  We get to do that.  They definitely can't do any of that at all, not until someone on this side of the veil can do it for them.  We can do all these work for them in the temple.  When we do work for the dead, we then become saviors to those who had passed on before us.  When we do our genealogy we find our families to work for first.  The stakes and wards have names also that the temple gives you to your account in family search  Our ward, since the beginning of the year we do sealings for the dead every week.  We have sealed at least 500 people to their parents or spouse.  It is amazing to know that those people will have a chance to be exalted when we do it for them.  We need them for our exaltation, and they do need us for theirs.  It's the cycle of sacrifice and love that Jesus Christ gave us the platform to follow.

I am truly grateful for the ultimate sacrifice that Jesus Christ did on my behalf.  I mean He died for all, including sinners and righteous.  We do our best with the work that we do in this world.  We be good and love others.  Although all these good works and the sacrifices we do in this life will never be enough and compared to the Love our Heavenly Father for us.  We will never be able to pay our debt to Him.  He continues to bless us when we keep His commandments.  Keeping His commandments was supposed to be the return favor we do when Jesus Christ died for us.  Heavenly Father blesses us when we do keep His commandments.  That will leave us indebted to Him.  Need I say more, we owe our lives to our Heavenly Father and our savior and redeemer Jesus Christ.  He's our big brother, who laid down His life for us.  Thank you Jesus Christ for your unconditional love for me a sinner.  Thank you Heavenly Father for being mindful of me despite all my imperfections.  Thank you for reading today.  Much ofaz to all!
